The Company of Traditional Dances of Cuba will celebrate its 30th birthday.

To strengthen the bond with the communities, the members of the group visit some of the neighborhoods of Havana every Friday to develop workshops, show the artistic culture and select the talents with less visibility.

The first zebrafish laboratory for biomedical purposes is inaugurated in Havana.

In this species, which shares 75 percent of the genes with humans and up to 85 in disease conditions, diseases such as dementia, ischemia, Parkinson's and Alzheimer's will be simulated, in order to later evaluate new drugs in the early stages of these conditions

Two of the 21 new positives for Covid-19 are detected in the capital.

The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, September 13, 21 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of 1,110,148. 196 remain hospitalized and 108 suspects.
