Conference that has been held since 2011 by the National Directorate of Physical Education and Health Promotion of INDER, which coordinates the Area of ​​Community Physical Activity with the National Center for Education and Health Promotion, which calls on the entire population to participate in the program of physical, sports and recreational activities, taking into account the results of the diagnosis of needs, interests and aspirations by age groups, which are organized in a massive and inclusive way from pregnant women to the elderly in the communities, centers educational and labor, parks, squares and sports facilities.

With the aim of promoting the systematic practice of physical activities as an effective means of combating a sedentary lifestyle and promoting active and healthy communities, institutions, families and individuals, helping to reduce NCDs, cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, cancer, diabetes and obesity.

Achieving joint actions with agencies, organizations and institutions that have allowed greater promotion and dissemination, as well as an increase in the number of participants.

 

National Program of Activities

* Program of physical, sports and recreational activities in each territory with universal access.

* Dissemination by the provincial and local mass media of the messages encouraging the population, in an inclusive manner, to join the program of activities, motivating the participation of the family and the population in general to the systematic practice of physical activity and healthier lifestyle changes.

* Talks and talks on Healthy Diet. Benefits of physical exercise for the prevention and control of NCDs.

* Distribution of physical activity and health promotion materials.
