The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, September 8, 32 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of 1,110,840.

211 remain hospitalized and 92 suspects.

To date, 8,530 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 32 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating 1,102,132 (99.2%) recovered patients. 119 active cases were confirmed, 118 of them with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, no new positives for Covid-19 were diagnosed.

For COVID-19, 1,691 samples were studied, resulting in 32 positive samples. The country accumulates 14,114,668 samples carried out and 1,110,840 positive.

Of the 32 confirmed, 23 were contacts of confirmed cases, and 3 with a source of infection abroad, and 6 to be specified.
