Two of the 21 new positives for Covid-19 are detected in the capital.

 

To date, 8,530 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 26 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating 1,102,250 (99.2%) recovered patients. 109 active cases were confirmed, 108 of them with stable clinical evolution. A patient is in critical condition in intensive care.

In Havana, 2 autochthonous cases were diagnosed in the municipalities of Centro Habana and Cerro.

For COVID-19, 1,466 samples were studied, resulting in 21 being positive. The country accumulates 14,123,328 samples carried out and 1,110,948 positive.

Of the 21 confirmed, 16 were contacts of confirmed cases, and 6 with a source of infection to specify.

Of the feminine sex 10, and of the masculine 11. In the Intensive Cares a patient remains in serious condition.

There was no asymptomatic case on the day, accumulating a total of 147,471, which represents 13.3%.

The 21 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 16; from 20 to 39, 1; from 40 to 59, 1, and from 60 and over, 3 cases.

Until this September 13, Cuba reports a case fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.6% of the world, and 1.59% of the Americas.
