Pedagogical Schools of Havana graduate more than 570 new teachers and professors

With the presence of Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, first Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party in the capital, Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, Minister of Education, Reinaldo García Zapata, Governor of Havana and the Provincial Director of Education, Yoania Falcón was held at the Tomorrow this Wednesday the ninth graduation of the Pedagogical Schools and the first of Artistic Education teachers in the park March 13, in Old Havana.

 

 Committed to the ideas of the eternal leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, when he expressed: “The success of our Revolution, the security of our future; the success of our Socialism will depend to a large extent on what educators are capable of doing” more than 570 new professionals for the sector graduated.

On such a symbolic day for the people of the capital, the new graduates expressed that their gift for the 503rd anniversary of the founding of the Villa de San Cristóbal de La Habana is the commitment to appropriate more knowledge and continue to excel to guarantee quality education for the new generations of Cubans. 

 

The current promotion includes the first graduation in artistic specialties for each of the levels of primary, secondary and special education. It is made up of teachers of Musical Education and Plastic Education for primary and special education, as well as secondary school teachers for the Visual-theatrical and Musical-dance specialty.

It also includes the second for secondary school teachers, the third for teachers for professional technical education, in the disciplines of agriculture, economics, electricity, computing, mechanics, and transport and services; and the ninth Early Childhood educator, primary and special education teachers.
