Government of Havana denies false news circulating on social networks

The first of them indicated that citizen Amelia Calzadilla was having gas service installed. To such information, the Facebook profile of the Cuba Petroleum Union, CUPET responded:

"The news that the gas service is being installed for Amelia is FALSE, the Manufactured Gas Company has been working for several months on the Calzada de Buenos Aires in Cerro but on the networks, it is not installing any new service."

On the other hand, the information of a fire in the popularly known Lanchita de Regla was denied by the Provincial Transport Company of Havana. Here is the official note:

"By indication of the Port Captaincy, in the morning the service of the Regla boat was suspended, with the purpose of carrying out an underwater fire drill event.

The simulation exercise responds to the actions planned for the day for the Safety of Human Life at Sea (SOLAS) (International Ship Convention).

The news that is circulating in the social networks, of the supposed fire of the boat of Regla, is totally FALSE!

Once the exercise was over, the service of the boat was resumed without any difficulty for the lives of the passengers or the crew."
