With a prologue written by Graziella Pogolotti, who the author expresses his thanks, the text introduces great events narrated from a rational language and lays on the search for contextual information to understand its endurance and repercussion, in a delivers that is much like a tribute paid to Havana.

Is a volume with a didactic character, that establishes nexus between documentary analysis and accurate bibliographic reference. Magda Resik, Head of Boloña Publishing House, Michael González, Head of Cultural Inheritance of the Office of the Historian of the City(OHCH) and Abel Santamaria, the author, presented the book and gave details on the creation process of this work.
All the presenters agreed that this is a text created under the aim of reaching the youth, to get to the new generations and through them, keep defending the revolutionary project aimed since 1959.
Magda Resik, Head of Communication of the Office of the Historian of the city, remembered Eusebio Leal, who transmitted everyone the need of book appreciation, making this his way of facing life and work. ¨He loved books, not only as a source of getting culture but as precious objects, which should be treasured, read and enjoyed¨. This is the way Abel Santamaria’s book is promoted, as the consequence of this legacy granted to literature, the history and the city of Havana. Abel González Santamaria, PhD in Political Sciences, teacher and investigator, with published works dedicated in the last years to historiography, shows once more in this book his enthusiasm about History and the aim of defending and demonstration the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, The book, deals and shows its commitment to a phrase expressed by Eusebio Leal and that is being repeated this recent days as a logo, ¨It is impossible to get to the future without been travelled to the past first¨.
Michael González stressed out that other valuable asset of the written work is due to the singular way content has been managed and presented.
On this regard he expressed, the book introduces a historic tour ordered by decades since the triumph of the Revolution in 1959 up to 2019, where the 500 anniversary of the foundation of the San Cristobal of Havana Village, and therefore, this is a history book which interconnects the events that actually works as pillars of current times in Havana.
The author stated that he picked up this topic because he considers it a pendant subject for historians, polithologists and communicators, who have written about what has happened in Cuba since the Revolution´s triumph. He defined the book as an attempt to encourage and boost the studies of this kind. Eusebio Leal is still his guiding light-who defended the idea of transmitting history by contextualizing it, making integral interdisciplinary analysis to understand human processes- and his aim is to continue solving the puzzles hidden in the historic events of the Cuban nation.
