In Havana, many of the new economic actors head their activities and management to the local development of municipalities, neighborhoods and families  and as a whole, they open doors and roads towards the country´s progress.

Numerous local development projects, SMES (called MYPIMES in Cuba), Non-Agricultural Production Cooperatives(CNA), Agricultural Production Cooperatives(CPA), Credit and Services Cooperatives(CSC) AND Self-employed workers (TCP)are already operating I the province, constituting old and new forms of non-state management(GNE) that are integrated into the local economic framework and constitute a force that aims and bets on the development of the capital and the country.

The Government of Havana calls for the I Havana Local Development Fair to be held from March 28 to April 3.

An important representation of local economic actors, including state enterprises involved in the linkage with the new FGNEs, will participate in it.

In parallel to the celebration of the event, a Scientific Event will be held as a propitious framework for all the Havana universities and the study and research centers located in Havana to present results of research carried out on topics related to local development.

For this purpose, professors, researchers and students linked to the different faculties and centers attached to these universities and other study centers are invited to send their proposals of works derived from researches carried out in which the different views on local development are approached.

The presentation must include the following information:

Title of the paper.

Category of the work (book, book chapter, article, other).

Name and surname (all authors).

Name of the university, faculty or center of studies.

Declaration of consent for publication if selected by the Tribunal as appropriate.

The Organizing Committee of the Scientific Event, created for the purpose of convening, organizing and directing this realization, will select the works to be exhibited on the corresponding date, among which the specialist appointed as evaluating court, will choose those who are worthy of the prizes to be awarded during the fair.

The awarded works as well as those selected for their scientific rigor and contribution proposals will be proposed for publication. They should be sent before March 13 to noris@ceap.uh.cu and mperezsilveira@gmail.com
