The city showing advances in the process of digitalization of vaccinated patients.

The Newspaper Tribuna de la La Habana reported this Tuesday, March 1st, the highest authorities of Havana encouraged the leaders of the Province Health System to increase the digitalization of vaccination to make the access of the immunized citizens to the digital passports.   

Doctor Nilda Roca Menéndez, Deputy Director- General of the Province Direction of Health explained in a meeting with the Temporary Work Group (Grupo Temporal de Trabajo (GTT) to fight against Covid- 19 in the capital, that the process is met at 79.9 %; the registration of younger children who had  Soberana Pediatría is the most, just because it is the last group to have the vaccine.

She mentioned San Miguel del Padrón, Boyeros, Arroyo Naranjo and Playa as the municipalities in which the process of digitalization of vaccination is delayed.

The report showed that for the primary vaccination campaign the application of the first dose is met at 94%, the whole scheme is met at 93.7 and last month100% of the patients were reinforce.

In regards to the epidemiological situation Doctor Emilio Delgado Iznaga, provincial Director of Health said they keep the control on the pandemic, as it is shown on the continuous decrease of incidence rate and the almost zero   reports of seriously ill patients.  

At the closing time on Monday there were only six positive cases to Covid- 19, all of them autochthonous and also contacts of positive cases previously confirmed.   

There are still 769 patients admitted, 667 in their houses and 102 in hospitals; 22 patients recovered and 72 are active cases.

An old lady is in critical conditions, with several co-morbilities; seriously ill patients are not reported.

 Authorities of the Temporary Work Group said that although we have a positive view, the use of the mask and all chlorine substances is mandatory for prevention.  

They also informed that everything is ready for the celebrations of the 335 anniversary of the foundation of the Municipality of Regla, that will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, that includes the opening of several works done in the sectors of Gastronomy, Commerce, Health, Culture, and Housing.

As a last report they informed that the distribution of two pounds of potatoes, from February and controlled in the food card, will be delivered.
