Jorge Luis Villa Miranda, coordinator of programs and objectives of the Economy of the Province Government, informed that the sales and incomes to the Budget were increased in the first month of the year. The indicators of salary and employment were coincident to the levels of activity and the expenses were as planned.   

Likewise, the number of entities with loss decreased, nevertheless the causes were one by one analyzed as well as the way in which each is to be solved and when. 

Villa Miranda commented about the anti- flacionary measures taken in the capital. We can mention the monitoring and control of the companies efficiency and the checking of the cost sheet of all the entities closely related to population in actions as food production in order to reduce prices where possible.   

The increase of actions done to set up prices with the producers was also mentioned, mostly in agriculture, the control on retail prices by the system of inspection and the monitoring of the increase of job productivity.

 He added that other measures support the reduction of inflation the fulfilment of incomes to the Budget from the taxes and guarantee the use and destination of the expenses. 

Villa Miranda highlighted that observatories of prices are being created to measure the impact of the measures.  

Regarding the new ecomomic actors he underlined that 12 Non Agricultural Companies (CAN in Spanish) have been approved in the province and 775 micro, small and medium companies (Mipymes), and 744 of them are private.                         

The poor implementation of the 43 measures approved for the business sector by the local subordination entities was a topic of discussion. Reinaldo García Zapata, the Province Governor, alerted that they are to be applied and will have a more rigorous treatment from now on.

 
He called businessmen to carry out the income plan without justifications, to find alternatives and not to adapt to have loss. 

Likewise, he emphasized on the need to make a sales management, to make a company analysis and find schemes to guarantee the planned sales.  

Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, Prime Secretary of the Party in the capital, told his opinions about the topic of sales and urged the responsible ones to avoid schematizing.

He said the businessman has the tools and do not use them.
In respect to the new economic actors  he pointed out that the existence of CNA, Mipymes, self- employees is not enough ,it is necessary to have social responsibility, connection with the government  companies, with the government, the Party, the UJC, and the labor union.
