Men and women in Havana give their opinions on the Code of the Family and demonstrate once again that this city is cultured and although there are dissimilar interpretations, respect becomes a premise when it comes to rights.

However, the issue most also be approached from the point of view of knowledge, self-criticism, sensitivity, values and in this way to ensure that the look of this new project is as comprehensive as possible.

Contemplated in everything endorsed in the constitution in 2019, the new Code of the Family, if approved , would also give continuity to those rights and duties of people, human beings capable of thinking, feeling, loving and being happy with our preferences towards the other person through a different socio-affective relationship than those represented in the current code, with rights to participation, not to be violated, discriminated against, to have a healthy childhood where children are heard, to respect our grandparents and elders.

The participants had the opportunity to discuss their proposals together with the specialists on the subject and also to deepen the link of inclusive language in the communicative processes of the country.

In the capital the popular consultation of this project of the Code of the Family is processing at a good pace and continues to do so until everyone emits its criterion towards the project, because each one of us counts in the construction of the country.

1. More than 78 000 meeting points on each Constituency.
2. The electors could leave their proposals by written or be orally presented at the meeting point.
3. You could make your proposals within the categories: modification, adding, elimination, doubts.

People should know that the members of the Electoral Special Commissions in the municipalities were already selected, and auxiliary groups for data processing to this level were also created.

We continue with the consultation process of people and some of the relevant information people must know:

1. On January 2022 the Electoral authorities on each Constituency, the Special Electoral Commissions and the auxiliary groups for data processing to this level were trained.
2. Institutions from the Law sector will contribute to the assortment of the selection, training of the law workers on the Code of the Family issue for every one of the consultations.
3. Communication plans were designed, including the logistics to guarantee the process with the highest possible quality, mainly with the data processing and handling.
4.   Meetings will be arranged with the Parliament in order to assets the tasks of the design, reproduction and deadline to the projects to be used in paper and digital support.
5. At the end of January, a pilot exercise will be carried out with the attendance of the Commissions on each constituency.
6. It is important to know that ¨Electoral Commissions with the support of the mass organizations must guarantee that every elector will be invited to participate at the meeting point corresponding to the area where they live¨ (Alina Balseiro Gutierrez, President of the National Electoral Council, CEN).
7. After the exchange meeting with the people, the delivery process of the proposals to the National Assembly for being processed and consolidated should end on May 2022. Two debrief will be previously made.

10. In order to make easier the collection and processing of the proposals, the University of Computing Sciences(UCI) and Datys designed to computing management system (XISCOP and GEMA-CEN), both of them tested on pilot tests that have proven their functionality with remarkable positive outcomes.
11. The UCI also developed the app. Consulta Popular, that will contribute to the electors training, at the meeting points.
