The work collective of the Balneario Universitario Social Club, linked to Provincial Enterprise of Social and Workers´ Clubs in Havana, consolidates its work in the current fight for life.

Characterized by being mostly young, the team work of the entity assumes with efficiency the challenges imposed by the complex economic situation faced by the capital city.

Its 92 workers, led by Eisler Llanes García, daily guarantee a varied offer of excellent take -out food , both in the snack and lunch service.

Between 10:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m. local time, from Tuesday to Sunday more than 1000 sandwiches and up to 80 portions of take-away food are marketed and consumed by the inhabitants of the Miramar neighborhood in the municipality of Playa.

In view of the new circumstances, the managers, cooks and employees continue with their work and are supported by some of the auxiliary personnel.

The rest of the staff contributes with sanitation tasks and constructive maintenance of the unit as well as the Isolation Center run by the Provincial Enterprise of Social and Workers ‘Clubs of Boyeros. 

Each of these activities show the industriousness, the kind treatment and the opportune information offered by the team of the Balneario Universitario as a triumph card in its sales management as well as the other services they provide.

As for the gastronomic offer, bread with croquettes, bread with mayonnaise and hot dogs are well received, for a price range between 3 and 6 pesos’ national currency.

The mixed rice and white rice dishes are similarly well received, accompanied by main courses based on sausages, grounded meat, chicken and beef, with prices ranging from 14 to 58 Cuban pesos.

Among the most demanded products are juices, soft-drinks and dispensed beer of the brands Cristal ad Bucanero.

According to Llanes García, workers of the center face their work with creativity and dynamism in spite of the difficulties imposed by the Covid-19 outbreak.
