A museum of coffee is created in Havana

A new cultural institution is created these days, the Museum of Coffee, by the Office of the Historian of Havana.
The entity will work for the preservation of the material and non material patrimony of the Cuban coffee; the protection of its historical, ecological, archaeological, architectural, industrial, cultural and social influence.
Likewise it has the aim of keeping its values of identity within the deep and broad national culture.
This beautiful idea needs our collaboration to enrich the collections of the emerging museum.
Donations from those who decide to give the public part of their family or personal legacy  will be received.
Donations of objects, documents, books, pictures and other things linked to the culture of coffee in Cuba and abroad are accepted.

The tradidion of drinking coffee in Cuba is one of more than two centuries old. Geographical conditions favor its production and its regular consumption.
Its black color and delicious aroma greet visitors in Cuban homes.
