14 new positive identified cases of Covid- 19 are from La Habana

At the end of yesterday, November 27th, stated that, 153 new positive cases were confirmed for a total of 962 220 from the beginning of the outbreak on March 11th ,2020.

To date, 8300 deaths by coronavirus have been reported, 925 active cases of which 895 with a stable clinical evolution; a total of 199(belonging to the day) patients were discharged from hospitals for a total of 952 938(99%) medical or epidemiological discharges. 3885 patients remain in hospital admission, 2807 suspicious and 153 under medical surveillance.

The incidence rate is still decreasing in all the municipalities in Havana. 14 cases were identified in the capital, all of them native. 10 municipalities reported cases.

The most affected municipalities in Habana were Boyeros(2), Habana Vieja, Arroyo Naranjo, Centro Habana, Cerro, Diez de Octubre,Cotorro,Habana del Este, Playa,Plaza de la Revolución(1).

20 718 tests were studied for Covid- 19, 153 were positive samples, whether with PCR or by antigen. The country accumulates 11 066 303 analyzed samples of which 962 220 were positive.

Of the confirmed cases,151 people were contacts of confirmed cases,2 with source of infection from abroad.

There were 151 native cases this Saturday and 2 imported of which 70 female and 83 male cases.

30 diagnosed patients remain in the Intensive Care Unit, of them 13 critical and 17 seriously ill. 

This Saturday the amount of asymptomatic cases decreased to 17.6%(27), for a total of 132 514, which represents a 13.8% of the confirmed cases to the date.

Of the 153 confirmed cases, 24 were under 20 years of age; 35 between 20 and 39; 49 between 40 and 59 and 45, over 60.

The death rate for Covid -19 in Cuba, in November 27th , 2021 is 0.86% per million inhabitants which is lower than the 2% for the world and the 2.43 % for the Americas region.
