New measures for air transportation as of November 7th

The Airport and Airport Services Company ECASA announced new measures for air transportation to be implemented as of November 7th.

As of this date, transfers related to institutional isolation will be suspended, both to centers and hotels for isolation of travelers arriving at all airports, however, transfers of passengers leaving the isolation hotels will continue until their evacuation is completed, it was said in the note.

According to the publication, the agency will also have authorized the collection of passengers and luggage at airports with its own means.

ECASA informed about another set of measures that will come into effect as from November 15th, among which is the gradual reestablishment of arrivals and departures through airports, adjusting the capacities of these facilities to the sanitary protocols.

The text highlights that the same biosecurity measures will be kept on board the aircrafts and terminals, such as the use of face masks, hand sanitizing with chlorinated water solution or hydro-alcoholic gel, disinfection of means and facilities, footsteps at the accesses, physical distancing of the passengers and the limitation of the capacities of means and facilities, among others.

ECASA is in charge of the attention of aircrafts, passengers and airport facilities in the country, as well as the fuel, lubricants and special liquids supply.
