La Habana readjusts opening hours of inter-provincial borders

The capital of Cuba from this Friday 15th implements actions for the re-opening of the inter-provincial borders as of next November 1st, as part of the relaxation of the sanitary measures due to the tendency to control the Covid-19 outbreak.

According to results provided during the meeting of the governmental group for the fight against Covid-19 in Havana, the sale of tickets for national buses, trains and airplanes will begin on October 20th.

 Likewise, it was recently announced by the authorities that last details are being set in for the re-opening of galleries, libraries, museums and open spaces activities in the so called Casas de la Cultura.

The experts pointed out that in the last few weeks the tendency on the behavior of the Covid -19 pandemic is to a decrease, which resulted from the vaccination process with the national inmunogens and some other factors as the effectiveness of the sanitary protocols implemented.

Indicators in Havana shows an improvement in the incidence rate, and this Friday the capital reported 138 new cases of the 2138 confirmed cases in the Caribbean nation by the disease caused by SARS-COV 2 coronavirus.

Last September 29th, the restrictive measures taken related to the recreation, access to beaches, the practice of sports became more flexible which added to the possibility of enjoying the gastronomic services in open public spaces.
