After its recent inauguration, a new room for the development of Videoconferencing and other activities related to technological processes was installed at the Havana´s Provincial People´s Court, which should ensure greater integrity of the work in the center.

According to Yojanier Sierra Infante, President of the Provincial Court, this new area of technology has several utilities, in addition to facilitating the communication processes, it serves for the training and professional development of judges and other legal operators.

Likewise, it was conceived to favor the academic work taking into account that this institutions functions as a large teaching unit integrated to the Faculty of Law of the University of Havana.

Under the aim of improving the quality of the processes in accordance with the times we live in, files and procedures are being digitalized with the participation of judges and their disciples.

In view of these steps, Dr. Rubén Remigio Fierro, President of the Supreme Court, has recognized the great impact of these actions and has called on them to consolidate the process of informatization of society.

The multiple collective that integrate its structures in the 15 municipalities of Havana is working in this way to consolidate its recently obtained award as Distinguished at a country level in the National Union of the Public Administration.
