Digital transformation, a strategy that unites us, is the moto that drives FELTI, an event aimed at entrepreneurs and professionals from entities, organizations and other forms of management linked to the information and communication technology sector, according to its organizers at a digital press conference.

The President of the Organizing Committee, Ariadne Plasencia Castro, expressed that the Fevexpo platform, developed by DESOFT (a company that designs software for institutions) will be used for the premiere of this event, which will allow the virtual communication of all participants.

FELTI will also be the prelude to Informática 2022, and event that will also be held in non-presential forms.

With FELTI we have three clear goals: to establish and strengthen work networks for information technology projects, to socialize and acknowledge success stories in the sector and to promote the insertion of Cuban IT industry companies in exportable projects, Plasencia Castro said.

The President of the Organizing Committee added that the event covers thematic areas such as digital economy, digital management, a platform for citizen’s participation, digital society, digital society, use of digital tools in the health, education and transportation sectors, development of infrastructure solutions, security in the use of ICT, culture, inclusion and digital skills, 4G industry.

This has allowed us to have the presence of entities, organizations and individuals who have registered for the event in all planned modalities. So far we count on the presence of 16 sponsors, 28 exhibitors and 55 registered participants, whom we thank for.

Carmen M Fernández del Busto, general coordinator of FELTI 2021, explained that in the virtual fair the participants will have stands to exhibit their products, the services the offer, their success stories and everything under the objective of positioning themselves as leaders or referents of the digital transformation ecosystem in Cuba. We are expecting more than 20 state-owned companies and other forms of management to be present at the fair.

Dany Jesús Valiente Prieto, deputy director of development of DESOFT Habana, in charge of the team that has developed the Fevexpo virtual events platform, pointed out that it allows extrapolating any physical event to the network environment and this first version is focused on the development of fairs but it is also possible to carry out any other event through it. This platform will be launched for the first time at FELTI, which will be a trial before its definitive launch next October.

Fevexpo will have thematic rooms, which will be accessible to duly authenticated users for FELTI 2021.Users will be able to interact in them according to their roles, said Valiente Prieto.
