With the attendance of the Firts Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba in Havana, Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, and the Governor of the City, Reinaldo García Zapata, it sessioned this Wednesday, September 1st the meeting of the Temporary Working Group (GTT) for the fight against Covid-19 in the capital.

The meeting began with the analysis of the people´s opinions and complaints about the quality in the medical inquiries in the neighborhoods, the increase in the amount of  positive pediatric cases of Covid -19 and  their movility along the province, and violations to the amount of passengers carried out in public transport in some routs.

As for the medicinal oxygen supply  issue, it was informed that the situation is under control and it is being handle. On this regard a profund and detailed analysis was presented.

Likewise, a deep analysis was made about the vaccination process in the city, and it was explained that in the case of the students´vaccination it will be carried out by dividing them into three groups: a first group would include students from twelfth grade and technical and teachers training shoolswhose vaccination will begin on September 3rd with the Abdala vaccine candidate.

The second grupo would be vaccinated with the Soberana candidate and will include students from 11 to 18 years of age whose vaccination will start on September 5th. The third group embrace children from 2 to 10 years of age and it will start on September 15th with the Soberana vaccine candidate.

Provincial Health Director, Dr. Emilio Delgado Iznaga, informed that there were 773 new positive Covid-19 cases reported, of them 761 native. There were 10 060 samples tested, 9790 patients remain admitted in hospitals and 807 were medically discharged. Municipalities with the highest incidence are: Boyeros, La Lisa, Centro Habana, although an increase in the amount of reported cases is observed.

García Zapata insisted on the neeed of keeping the qualility of the antigenic testing and to keep focus on the compliance of the established protocols.

He also explained that it has positively worked home admission in Havana    pandemic, expressing that the death of single pregnant women is measured as a fail in this fight against Covid-19. Therefore the importance of increasing the care of those women.

There were produced 94 tons of bread and 8.4 tons of sweets.  There were delivered 500 tons of agruicultural products and the production of soy yogurt, Miragur(a dairy product) and ice cream was succesfully carried out.

The municipality of Playa is the only on that have not receive the donation food packs. In the case of the milk that is distributed linked to medical diets, half a kilo was distributed , and the rest will gradually be distributed.

1572 control actions were displayed in the municipality; a cigarretes hoarding was detected and in that case, the subjects involved were fined with 8000 cuban pesos. An analysis was made about the garaje sales in order to evaluate that its purpose is being fullfilled.
