ETECSA anuncia adecuaciones comerciales y estudio de paquetes intermedios

Cuba's state telecom company, ETECSA, has announced free access to over 40 educational and informational websites via mobile networks, supporting public health, science, and academic activities. University students will now have the option to purchase a second 6 GB data plan, doubling their monthly allowance to 12 GB for 720 CUP. Additional measures include expanding WiFi zones in educational institutions, hosting scientific journals on local servers, and promoting national platforms like Todus and Nauta. Data plans will now remain valid for 35 days, and new home internet offers will be introduced this summer. Despite infrastructure challenges due to the U.S. blockade, Cuba continues prioritizing digital access for social development.
