The Ministry of Public Health recognized the transcendence of the experiences and research shared at the recent International Symposium on Thrombosis, held in Havana, in the short and long term, for the future.

This recognition was expressed in the words of Dr. José Luis Aparicio Suarez, National Director of Postgraduate Studies, who in making the conclusions of the event, referring to its results and its imprint, said: "Undoubtedly in the future thrombotic disorders will be better prevented, diagnosed and treated; dosages will be analyzed with greater precision and there will be a surprising robustness of the prognosis based on clinical and multiparametric studies, it will be possible to reduce, prevent and control, hemostatic cataclysms, it will not be utopia the balance of hemostasis in dissimilar contexts...".

Aparicio Suárez highlighted the personalities and institutions that made this scientific meeting possible and concluded:

"We thank the organizing committee of the event, for overcoming limitations, for the ethics and aesthetics demonstrated; the opponents for their great expertise; the Institute of Hematology and Immunology of national reference, the active and creative Cuban Society of Hematology, Roche, to all for the integration of science and conscience".
