The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, September 19, 22 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of 1,111,067.

160 remain hospitalized and 67 suspects.

To date, 8,530 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 22 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating 1,102,385 (99.2%) recovered patients. 93 active cases were confirmed, 90 of them with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana no case was diagnosed.

For COVID-19, 1,207 samples were studied, resulting in 22 being positive. The country accumulates 14,134,336 samples carried out and 1,111,067 positives.

Of the 22 confirmed, 9 were contacts of confirmed cases, 8 with a source of infection abroad, and 5 to be specified.

There was no asymptomatic case on the day, accumulating a total of 147,480, which represents 13.27%.

As of September 19, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than 106% in the world, and 1.59% in the Americas.
