New luxury hotel in Old Havana

Canadian company Blue Diamond Resorts announced the opening of the new Mystique Regis Habana by Royalton hotel, the latest addition to the Royalton Luxury Resorts portfolio of boutique hotels.

It is a 61-room boutique hotel for adults only that will begin operations on September 1, 2022, and will show the charm of Old Havana in a privileged location, a few steps from Central Park, the company reported.

According to a press release, the Mystique Regis Habana by Royalton, located on Paseo del Prado, will be one of the new luxury hotels in the city, owned by the Gaviota Tourism Group, with the difference that it is the only hotel in which It has managed to maintain all of its original structure, which dates back to 1909.

“The Mystique Regis Habana will allow its guests to travel back in time, thanks to its elegant neoclassical colonial decoration, and excellent attention to detail. At the same time, it offers modern amenities to provide the best experience, such as Wi-Fi in all areas, RFID bracelets that work as room keys, capsule coffee machines, station and USB ports in the room, among others”, says Blue Diamond Resorts.

The common areas of the property include a lobby bar with authentic Cuban cocktails, a restaurant with views of the Paseo del Prado and the classic American cars that circulate along it, as well as a rooftop with a café-restaurant that offers an impressive view of the Havana boardwalk. .

Mystique Regis Habana will offer five different room categories. Each modern luxury room will feature beautiful 1900's detail such as hat racks and canes. Sleek soaking tubs, rainfall showers, and art-deco mirrors are also some of the features guests will find in their rooms.
