Centro Fidel Castro proposes a great program of activities.

Book presentations, master conferences, panels and other activities are the proposals of the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, in greeting to the 96th anniversary of the birth of the Commander in Chief of the Cuban Revolution.

In the words of René González, director of the institution, the building opens its spaces to all interest in studying and disseminating the life and work of Fidel to preserve and transmit his legacy to new generations.

González also explained that it is important to promote intergenerational debate and link the community with the investigative work for a deeper understanding of the different facets of the revolutionary leader.

The main task now is to conclude the first version of Fidel's Selected Works, which should be published next year, for which more than a million and a half documents and writings are processed.

Inaugurated on November 25, 2021 on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the physical disappearance of the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution, the institution is the rector of research on the thought and figure of the eternal Commander.

It has nine exhibition halls, libraries, meeting rooms, galleries, an amphitheater, a bookstore, a printing press, an extensive garden and is equipped with high technology.

According to Cubadebate, visits must be scheduled in advance by phone (+53) 7833 0292 or by email reserva@centrofidel.cu
