Cuban Vice President toured the Workers' Social Circles of Havana.

Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa confirmed this Wednesday the operation of the Workers' Social Circles (CSO) of the capital, in a tour of these establishments intended for the enjoyment of workers and their families.

According to a report in the newspaper Tribuna de La Habana, the also member of the Political Bureau of the Party verified in these recreational centers the association of different economic actors, with the support of the State.

Reinaldo García Zapata, governor of the capital, leaders of the Party and the Company from social circles also participated in the tour.

At CSO Marcelo Salado, from the municipality of Playa, Valdés Mesa learned about strategies for food and beverages to be offered at reasonable prices.

There, his directors explained that the distribution of reservations by unions and through agreements respond to the interests of various sectors.

Valdés Mesa proposed to continue ensuring that prices are low, and inquired about compliance with income plans in the units, which are generally over-fulfilled to date.

He shared with builders who are rehabilitating a project pool and called on them to continue putting effort into the quality of the works.

In dialogue with directors of the capital, the Cuban Vice President urged to make these circles sustainable, to give them continuous maintenance, due to their importance for the recreation of the workers.

Also, at the CSO Gerardo Abreu Fontán, Valdés Mesa shared with 11 and 12-year-old children, members of the baseball teams of the municipalities of Playa and Plaza de la Revolución, who competed in the baseball stadium.

At the installation, he spoke with members of the National Union of Education, Science and Sports Workers who enjoyed the place and said they were pleased with the service.

Said social circle was one of those renovated in Havana in the last stage, and is integrated into seven others in the province with similar characteristics, in addition to two local development projects.
