10 of the 92 new positives for Covid-19 in Cuba are detected in the capital.

The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, July 27, 92 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 107 thousand 800.

692 remain hospitalized and 210 suspects.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 122 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 98 thousand 730 (99.2%) recovered patients. 482 active cases were confirmed, 475 of them with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 10 cases were identified, of them 9 autochthonous and one imported. Cases were reported in six of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

Habana del Este –1

Lisa –1

Playa –1

Plaza de la Revolución –4

For COVID-19, 2,405 samples were studied, resulting in 92 positive samples. The country accumulates 14 million 027 thousand 654 samples carried out and one million 107 thousand 800 positives.

Of the 92 confirmed, 71 were contacts of confirmed cases, 2 with a source of infection abroad, and 19 unspecified.

Of the female sex 43, and of the male 49. In the Intensive Cares 7 patients are assisted, of them 2 in critical condition and 5 serious.

 5 (5.4%) asymptomatic cases are reported, accumulating a total of 147,254, which represents 13.3%.

The 92 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 50; from 20 to 39, 21; from 40 to 59, 9; and 60 and over, 12 cases.

Until this July 27, Cuba reports a case fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.11% of the world, and 1.64% of the Americas.
