The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, July 24, 103 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 107 thousand 510.

 795 remain hospitalized and 305 suspects.

 To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of today) and 64 medical discharges were given (today), accumulating one million 98 thousand 432 (99.2%) recovered patients. 490 active cases were confirmed, 482 of them with stable clinical evolution.

 In Havana, 14 cases were identified, 13 of them native and one imported. Cases were reported in nine of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

 Habana del Este –3

For COVID-19, 2,646 samples were studied, resulting in 103 positive samples. The country accumulates 14 million 021 thousand 293 samples carried out and one million 107 thousand 510 positives.

 Of the 103 confirmed, 82 were contacts of confirmed cases, 4 with a source of infection abroad, and 17 unspecified.

 Of the feminine sex 53, and of the masculine 50. In the Intensive Cares 8 patients are assisted, of them 4 in critical condition and 4 serious.

 8 (13.3%) asymptomatic cases are reported, accumulating a total of 147,230, which represents 13.3%.

 The 103 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 56; from 20 to 39, 21; from 40 to 59, 13; and 60 and over, 13 cases.

Until this July 24, Cuba reports a case fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.11% of the world, and 1.65% of the Americas.
