Soft coup attempts against Cuba unmasked

The neighborhood in transformation La Corbata, located in the municipality of Playa, was the setting chosen to present this Saturday the book Cuba, a failed soft coup, where the subversive operation designed in the United States to try to destabilize the constitutional order in Cuba is unmasked and denounced. Cuba through the so-called "soft coup" methodology.

The recently deceased researcher and Doctor of Legal Sciences, Manuel Hevia Frasquieri, demonstrates in this text from Editorial Capitan San Luis the network of actions planned and executed by the Central Intelligence Agency, the United States International Development (USAID), and the National Endowment for Democracy, to induce regime change in our country.

This was stated by the deputy director of the State Security Historical Research Center (CIHSE), Pedro L. Etcheverry, who unmasked the subversive network that was deployed to incite violent acts such as those of July 11, 2021, using social networks and other virtual spaces.

In his speech, Etcheverry highlighted the trajectory of Hevia Frasquieri, who was director of the CIHSE at the time of his death, and developed extensive investigative work on the destabilizing actions of the White House against the Revolution.

The day of denunciation was completed with the presentation of Miradas in context, by Abel Enrique González Santamaría, which groups in its pages the analyzes of 31 Cuban university professors on the internal and external factors that led to the seditious attempts of the summer of 2021.
