The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the end of yesterday, June 27, 17 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 967.

279 remain hospitalized and 158 suspects.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 28 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 97 thousand 258 (99.2%) recovered patients. 121 active cases were confirmed, all with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 6 cases were identified, all autochthonous. Cases were reported in four of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

Beach – 2

Mariano – 1

October Tenth – 1

For COVID-19, 1,470 samples were studied, resulting in 17 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 957 thousand 979 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 967 positives.

Of the 17 confirmed cases, 13 were contacts of confirmed cases, 2 with a source of infection abroad, and 2 with an unspecified source.

Of the female sex 10, and of the male 7. No confirmed serious or critical cases admitted to the country's Intensive Care have been reported.

There were no asymptomatic cases, accumulating a total of 147,051, which represents 13.3%.

The 17 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 10; from 20 to 39.5; and 60 and over, 2 cases.

As of June 27, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.16% of the world, and 1.71% of the Americas.
