From the capital 11 of the 26 new positives to Covid-19 in Cuba

The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, June 26, 26 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 978.

275 remain hospitalized and 143 suspects.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 15 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 97 thousand 230 (99.2%) recovered patients. 132 active cases were confirmed, all with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 11 cases were identified, all autochthonous. Cases were reported in seven of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

San Miguel del Padrón – 3

Cattle Dogs – 2

October Tenth – 2

Beach – 2

Hill – 1

Parrot – 1

Guanabacoa – 1

For COVID-19, 1,950 samples were studied, resulting in 26 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 958 thousand 395 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 978 positives.

Of the 26 confirmed cases, 24 were contacts of confirmed cases, 1 with a source of infection abroad, and 1 with an unspecified source.

Of the female sex 17, and of the male 9. There are no reports of confirmed serious or critical cases admitted to the country's Intensive Care.

3.8% (1) cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 147,051, which represents 13.3%.

The 26 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 11; from 20 to 39, 9; from 40 to 59, 1; and 60 and over, 5 cases.

As of June 26, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.16% of the world, and 1.71% of the Americas.
