At the close of the day yesterday, June 22, there was no death and 17 medical discharges were given. Cases were reported in five of the 15 municipalities.

The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the end of yesterday, June 22, 29 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 846.

255 remain hospitalized and 148 suspects.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 17 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 97 thousand 151 (99.2%) recovered patients. 107 active cases were confirmed, 106 of them with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 13 cases were identified, 12 autochthonous and 1 imported. Cases were reported in five of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

For COVID-19, 2,606 samples were studied, resulting in 29 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 947 thousand 872 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 846 positives.

Of the 29 confirmed cases, 25 were contacts of confirmed cases, 4 with a source of infection abroad, and 1 without specifying.

Of the feminine sex 16, and of the masculine 13. A patient is reported serious.

17.2% (5) cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 147,036, which represents 13.3%.

The 29 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 11; from 20 to 7, 8, and from 40 to 59, 3, and from 60 and over 8 cases.

As of June 22, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.16% of the world, and 1.71% of the Americas.
