Havana will host Cuba-Mexico Business Forum 2022

On July 14 and 15, the Cuba-Mexico Business Forum 2022 will be held at the National Hotel in the capital, in which all sectors of the economy can participate, with an emphasis on agri-food, biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, tourism, renewable energies and cultural industries.

According to a note published on the website of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment (Mincex), the conclave will facilitate bilateral meetings between Cuban and Mexican businessmen, the exchange of ideas on challenges in terms of attracting investment, as well as the promotion of the island's exportable funds, with the participation of the country's different economic actors.

The Meeting is organized by the Mincex, the Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Procuba; the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of the United Mexican States in Havana.

Cuba and Mexico have an Economic Complementation Agreement in force, through which tariff preferences were granted for the importation of various goods.
