Havana cultural space celebrates 45 years of creation in Cuba

The Havana House of Culture of Plaza de la Revolución will begin today the celebrations for the 45th anniversary of its creation with exhibitions, a presentation of the Emilio Morales quintet and a discussion about the Jazz Plaza event in Cuba.

For the coming day 23, the capital institution plans a discussion about Carpentier and his great influence on Latin American literature of his time, the space The story told by... with Norberto Codina, director of the Gaceta de Cuba, and the recognition of Lina Arce, former director of the House of Culture.

The agenda also includes a performance by the urban music group Artcor, the presence of the Girasol group and the 20th Century Orchestra, the opening of the Children's House in the Hands exhibition and the UltrHavana concert.

The program includes on the 24th and 25th a dissertation on the founders of the library, the show Dance with me and the closing gala called For the love of art with the concert by the Interactive Group, directed by the pianist, singer and composer Roberto Carcassés.
