The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the end of yesterday, June 13, 12 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 643 (7.9%).

903 remain hospitalized; 769 suspects, and 42 under surveillance.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 29 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 96 thousand 963 (99.2%) recovered patients. 92 active cases were confirmed, 90 of them with stable clinical course.

In Havana, 4 cases were identified, all autochthonous. Cases were reported in three of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

Hill – 1

Eastern Havana – 1

For COVID-19, 2,828 samples were studied, resulting in 12 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 918 thousand 902 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 643 (7.9%) positive.

Of the 12 confirmed cases, 11 were contacts of confirmed cases and 1 with a source of infection abroad.

Of the female sex 5, and of the male 7. One patient is reported serious and another critical.

8.3% (1) cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 147,006, which represents 13.3%.

The 12 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 5; from 20 to 39, 1; and 60 and over, 6 cases.

As of June 13, Cuba reports a fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.17% of the world, and 1.72% of the Americas.
