The official part of the Ministry of Public Health reports that at the close of yesterday, May 30, 29 new positive cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, for a total of one million 105 thousand 319.

One thousand 213 remain hospitalized; 1,006 suspects, and 31 under surveillance.

To date, 8 thousand 529 deaths have been reported (none of the day) and 45 medical discharges were given (of the day), accumulating one million 96 thousand 555 (99.2%) recovered patients. 176 active cases were confirmed, of which 173 with stable clinical evolution.

In Havana, 5 cases were identified, of them two autochthonous and three imported. Cases were reported in four of the 15 capital municipalities, with the following distribution:

• Boyeros – 1

• Guanabacoa – 1

• Beach – 2

• Revolution Square – 1

For COVID-19, 3,238 samples were studied, resulting in 29 positive samples. The country accumulates 13 million 864 thousand 771 samples carried out and one million 105 thousand 319 positives.

Of those confirmed, 20 were contacts of confirmed cases, 8 with a source of infection abroad, and 1 with an unspecified source of infection.

Of the feminine sex 17, and of the masculine 12. In the intensive therapies, 3 patients reported to be in serious condition remain.

20.7% (6) of the 29 positives were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 146,965, which represents 13.3%.

The 29 diagnosed belong to the age groups: under 20 years old, 11; from 20 to 39.5; from 40 to 59 years old 6, and from 60 and over, 7 cases.

Until this May 30, Cuba reports a case fatality rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.19% of the world, and 1.74% of the Americas.
