From this Thursday the 26th and until next May 30th, the third International Song Encounter for boys and girls will take place in Havana, which in this edition includes face-to-face activities in theaters and houses of culture in the capital and online events.

Dedicated to greeting and celebrating World Children's Day with the little ones, the music festival aims to encourage a culture of peace in children.

Prensa Latina informs that the program reserves the performances of local singer-songwriters Rita del Prado, Rochy Ameneiro, Enid Rosales, Miriela Mijares and Tania Moreno, and presentations by the groups Teatro de las Estaciones, Teatro Tuyo, Abracadabra, Ceda el Paso and the companies Step by step and La Colmenita. The Argentine artists of the Pim Pau Group and Estrellita Caracol will also attend and the book Art and education in childhood will be presented.

According to this medium, among the relevant proposals is the awarding of the contest Draw your favorite song, whose winning works will be exhibited in the lobby of the National Theater of Cuba.

The theoretical events of the meeting will be held between the 26th and 27th in the Abelardo Estorino Room of the Ministry of Culture.
