Raúl Castro participates in the final session of the Cuban Parliament

Cuban parliamentarians are holding today the last day of the fifth extraordinary session of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament), in which the leader of the Revolution Raúl Castro is participating.

The day's agenda includes the approval of two bills related to copyright and cultural heritage, which comply with the legislative schedule planned to date.

At the opening of the day, the president of the legislative body, Esteban Lazo, congratulated the Cuban peasants, whose day is celebrated on May 17.

In his message, he highlighted the importance of this sector called to increase yields to guarantee food sovereignty and security with a better use of available resources.
