Almost 72 hours after the fatal accident at the Saratoga hotel, the excavation and search for the victims who are still missing continues.

According to Cubadebate, one of the dogs of the canine brigade, its guide and a rescuer, entered the area between the hotel and Prado 609 to continue the search for the missing persons.

In the morning hours, Javier Martinez Diaz, member of the PCC Provincial Executive Bureau informed that in the past 24 hours 4 dead people (hotel workers) were found.

They continue to work meticulously to reach the basement with the force of firefighters, rescuers and the Ministry of Construction. In addition, the conditions of the infrastructure are being evaluated to be able to access the swimming pool.

According to statements made by relatives of the missing, it is estimated that there are around 12 or 13 people still trapped; the exact number will be known as the excavation progresses.
