Month of the French culture in Cuba.

Havana welcomes France to its stages and digital platforms. From this May 3 to May 26, French art will address the capital citizens since the stages, photography, music, dance and audiovisuals.

The program of activities is mainly developed in the Historic Center of the city. One of the special suggestions is Denis Darzacq´s photographic exhibit. As Sr. Marc Sagaert, general director of the French Alliance in Cuba said, ¨this is a very important photographer due to he brings disabled people of different genenerations to the public´s eye, through a visit to the Louvre, one of the most remarkable museums of the world,  where they do whatever they want in that totally free space; delivering the message that art is for everyone, women and men.

Requiem(Siá Kará), a contemporary dance performance directed by the French-tunitian Radhouane El Meddeb, together with Sussana Pous´Mi Compañía,  will be presented as well.

The French culture will also arrive through the parfum Alianza francesa en Cuba and on May 9, at the seat of this institution placed on Prado street a catwalk named ¨Dador a tu medida¨,  will take place at 6 in the evening. Dador brand will homage fashion tradition and high French clothing design.

Debates and cultural interchanges will occur during the worshops Generations and ageing: solidarity and social inclusion¨ which establishes a dialogue with multidimensional experiences.

The results of the contest ¨French presence in Havana¨ will be released, which will constitute a special moment during the event, as part of the closure of the workshops for children carried out at the Fine Arts Museum.

French movies are schedulled to be presented at La Rampa movie-theater and on TV.
