More than a thousand friends all over the world will participate with Cubans in the May 1st parade for the International Day of Workers in the Revolution Square in Havana, under the aim of demanding the cease of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States to Cuba.

Ismael Drullet Pérez, member of the Secretariat of the Union of Workers of Cuba, informed to Gramma that participants represent more than 200 organizations of the world, such as syndicates, social movements, political parties, students and religious associations and some other from 60 different countries.

Attendants to the parade are also there to express their support and admiration for the Cuban revolution. Among them 140 participants from 15 countries integrating the 15th International Brigade of Solidarity and Volunteering Work May 1st and 35, belonging to the Ernesto Che Guevera, from Canada.

The visitors ‘program includes tours to different institutions in order to share with workers, communities and places of interest, to get to know the Cuban reality and to unveil the media campaigns that discredit the Cuban revolution. It is also stated the will of demanding the stop of the economic, financial and economic blockade imposed by the United States to Cuba while expressing their admiration and support for the Cuban revolution.
