The official report of the Ministry of Health, dated on April 29th confirmed that, 191 new positive cases were diagnosed for a total amount of 1 102 941 cases.

3098 cases are hospital admitted, 2226 suspicious and 24 under medical surveillance.

To the date, 8526 deaths are reported (none of the day),261 medical discharges from the day, accumulating an amount of 1 093 508(99.1%) patients recovered. 848 active cases were reported, 836 with a clinical stable evolution.

29 cases,25 of them native and 4 imported were identified in Havana. In 9 of the 15 municipalities were identified cases, with the following behavior:

Cotorro(7),Boyeros(5), Playa (4), La Lisa and Plaza de la Revolución(3), Cerro, Diez de Octubre and Guanabacoa(2) Arroyo Naranjo(1).

6540 samples were run for Covid-19, 191 of them positive. The country accumulates 13 707 327 tested samples and 1 093 508 (99.1%) positive.

184 of the cases were contact of confirmed ones; 5 of them with source of infection from abroad and 2 with unknown source of infection.

99 female cases and 92 males were confirmed. There are 12 patients in the Intensive Care Units, 3 of them critical and 9 seriously ill.

5.8%(11) of the positive cases were asymptomatic for a total of 164 795 which represents 13.3%.

Of the 191 diagnosed cases, 75 are under 20 years of age; 35 from 20 to 39; 30 from 40 to 59 and 51, over 60 years of age.

Up to this April 29th, 2022 Cuba reported a death rate of 0.77% of Covid-19 cases per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.22% of the world and the 1.78% of the Americas.
