Ignacio Cervantes and Manuel Saumel´s plays made up the repertoire that will present the renewed Vocal Sampling group this Saturday April 16th, at 6:00 p.m. at the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater of Cuba.

The date is an invitation to be delighted by six talented artists performing a cycle of traditional Cuban danza and contradanza of the founders of Cuban musical nationalism, the composers Saumel and Cervantes, displaying the style that has always distinguished this singular format.

This will be the opportunity of enjoying Vocal Sampling´s last record productions, as well as the phonogram titled Asi de Sampling and the DVD recorded on March 2020, on the occasion of the concert celebrated at Sala Tito Junco, of the Cultural Complex Berthold Brecht on the 30th anniversary of the group.

Since its creation, Vocal Sampling has been made up of virtuous musicians and interpreters who are characterized by their particular execution of the music, through the replacement of musical instruments by the use of their own voices and hands gestures, while making adaptations of Cuban traditional musical pieces and pieces of their own creation.
