The main purpose of the Cuba is Living History project is to promote the exchange with combatants, personalities and leaders of our country who have a link with the history of the homeland and thus ensure that this history is never forgotten.

Its main scenarios are the social networks and the link with the media that can reflect the interviews as a memory of this project whose governing organization is the National Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC).

Motivated by the 30th anniversary of the ACRC, the 60th anniversary of the Union of Young Communists and the FEU's centerario, this project begins with a group of young people who want to demonstrate that the history of this nation is still alive in the new generations.

The main mission of the project is to visit our historical combatants and leaders, those who have a piece of their lives linked to the revolutionary and political work of the Cuban homeland.

This initiative is aimed at Cuban youth, young people of all ages, the community, neighbors and social participation. We have the support of organizations such as the Movimiento Juvenil Martiano, the Unión de Jóvenes Comunistas and BIAJM.

So far the project has more than one hundred young people from different regions of the country.

Cuba is Living History joins one of the purposes shared by the Union of Young Communists that emphasizes the importance of promoting the work aimed at knowledge and respect for national identity, patriotic history and the ethical, humanist and anti-imperialist legacy of our heroes and martyrs from the grassroots structures, youth movements and student organizations to children, adolescents and young people.

Several meetings have been held with combatants of the Revolution, which have been attended by many personalities.
