Acosta Danza, company directed by first dancer Carlos Acosta, will present its new generation of dancers in the show "Juventud en F.A.C.", this Friday, April 8, at 9:00 p.m., in Nave 3 of Fábrica de Arte Cubano.

The program includes a selection of emblematic works by Acosta Danza: Paysage, soudain, la nuit, by Pontus Lidberg, and the duet Nosotros, created by Beatriz García and Raúl Reinoso, informed Lester Vila Pereira, press director of the dance collective.

The presentation will end with De punta a cabo, a recreation of the original by Alexis Fernández (Maca), a piece that has been nominated in the category "Outstanding Achievement in Dance" at the Laurence Olivier Awards 2022, the most prestigious recognition of the performing arts in the United Kingdom.

Since its stage debut, Acosta Danza has aimed to perform dance shows in full accordance with the most current notions developing in the world.

The company is a space for renewal, research and experimentation for Cuban artists and also opens doors to the world's creators, choreographers, musicians, designers, visual and audiovisual artists.

Fábrica de Arte Cubano (FAC) is defined as a large interdisciplinary creation laboratory that exhibits the best of contemporary Cuban art, with a strong social and community focus.
