The official report of the Ministry of Public Health informed that, at the end of yesterday, March 25th , 957(+121) new positive cases were diagnosed for a total of 1 086 361.

To date 8509 casualties were reported(one belonging to the day)803 people were medically discharged(belonging to the day) accumulating an amount of 1 074 013(98,3%) recovered patients . 3780 active cases were confirmed , 3753 with a clinical stable evolution.

86(+46) new cases were reported in Havana, 46 of them native and 1 imported. In 15 municipalities were identified cases, with the following distribution:

15 383 samples were studied for Covid-19, of them 957 957 positives. The country accumulates 13 384 814 samples tested for Covid -19 and 1 086 361 positive samples.

908 of the cases were confirmed, 16 with source of infection from abroad and 33 with unknown source of infection.

There were 539 female cases and 418 male cases. There are 27 patients in the Intensive Care Units, 6 critical and 21 seroiuosly ill.

5.2% of the 957 positive cases were asymptomatics , accumulating 145 873(13.4%) of the 597 diagnosed patients, distributed the following way by age ranges: under 20 years of age,290; from 20 to 39,220; from 40 to 59,232 and over 60,215.

Up to this March 25th , Cuba reports a death rate of 0.78% per million inhabitants, lower than the 1.28% of the world and the 1.79% of the Americas.
