The Avellaneda Hall of the National Theater will welcome the San Remo Music  Awards , from April 6 to 9.

Radio Coco highlights that a 16 years old group of young interpreters , six of them originally from the capital, will defend a repertoire with songs from well-known composers of the contemporary Cuban music that will be presented in four different galas under the artistic direction of the reknown Yeandro Tamayo.

Important artists such as David Torrens, Haila María Mompié, César ¨Pupy¨Pedroso, Waldo Mendoza and Jorge Luis Robaina as well as remarkable foreign artists will have the responsability of evaluating the perfomance of the final contestants in the night shows, it was referred in the note.

Carlos Gaytán, outstanding instrument player and producer will lead the musical direction of the four galas.

Laura Paussini and Eros Ramazzoti will delight the audiences with their famous hits among the most expected novelties, which includes the presentations of Tania Pantoja, Suset Orieta-vocalist of Elito Revé´s Charangón-Elaín Morales y Abel Geronés, the last two will be on charge of the tribute.

There will be introduced presented  duets made by the final contestants and some other popular Cuban artists, featuring young singers from nine provinces of the country, blended with the styles of Mayito Rivera, Adrián Berazaín, Niurka Reyes, Pedrito Calvo among others.

A tribute to Cuban song tradition has been programmed , as a homage to Adalberto Álvarez . There will be also another special momento on which well-known songs from Raffaella Carrá´s repertoire will amuse the galas.

According to Mario Escalona Serrano, Director of EGREM, tickets could be acquired at the National Theater from  Saturday March 26, at 9:00(local time) with a cost of 60 Cuban pesos.
