Resolution approved to regulate and control substances with similar effects to drugs.

The Ministry of Public Health(MINSAP) approved Resolution 25/2022 which contains a list of subtances considered to have a similar efect to drugs, psicotropics and narcotics, submitted to the state control, informed Gramma newspaper.

On the list, published in the Official Gazette No. 22 Extraordinary, substances such as Amitriptilina, Camilofina, Ketamina, Propofol, Lidocaína, Mepivacaina, Procaína, Tetracaína, Clorpromozina, Atropina, Homatropina, Papaverina, Levomepromazina, Trihexifenidilo, Hidrato de Coral, Flufenazina, Tioridazina, Imipramina, Flufenazina, Tioridazina, Imipramina, Tramadol, banisterialaurofolia, Carbamazepina, Difenhidramina, and Metilbromuro de Homatropina were included and will be strictly controlled.

Dr. Carmen Borrego Calzadilla, chief of the Mental Health Section of MINSAP, assured in a recent Round Table that, addictions contitute a menace that destroys the human being, family and the society, ad during these two years of Covid-19 pandemic, work has been carried out in order to keep low morbidity levels for this cause, concluded Gramma.
