France donated musical instruments to the National School of Music.

Musical instruments and tecnological devices were donated by the Major of the Frech city of Enghien Les Bains.

Radio Metropolitana informed  that Mr. Philippe Sueur, major to the city of Enghien Les Bains visited the National School of Music, accompanied by a delagation of walian functionaries .

The delegation was welcomed by Indira Fajardo, President of the Cuban Institute of Music and Rolando Ortega, head of the Centro Nacional de Enseñanza Artistica(National Center for the Arts Teaching).

According to what was published, the collaboration is endorsed by the UNESCO´S Creative Cities Network.

After this gesture of solidarity, a new page about brotherhood between Cuban and France for the cultural development of both countries ,is written.

The French delegation , poiinted out Metropolitana statiom, was delighted by the talent of young musicians that are been taught in the differents specialties.  The music blended with the african roots, the circus with its universal language and painting were some of the many artistic expressions gathered under the aim of celebrating the friendship between France and Cuba as for thanking the musical instruments and the technological devices gifted.

UNESCO´s Creative Cities Network endorses the French initiative because it encourages and promotes cultural development.

Alejandro Falcón, pianist and profesor presented the book Danzaneado entre puentes, which approaches our national dance and reffers to its inflexion points with the French counterdance.

Dulce Abon, head of the National School of Music, expressed some words praising the students and the younger and older and consecrated teachers just like teacher Iván Valiente.  She also referred to the perfomance of solists and musical groups who play from the concert music to the traditional Cuban music.

It was also announced that the exceptionality of Cuban artistic teaching will be represented in an audiovisual. Those will be Dominique Roland´s memoires , director of the Center for the Arts of the French city of Enghien Les Bains, concluded Metropolitana.
