To celebrate the anniversary of the Young Communist League (UJC) next April, a cultural guerrilla 50th anniversary of the José Martí Art Instructors Brigade (BJM) was activated at the headquarters of this organization in the capital, which will include multiple activities.

The realization of a productive work, theater and music workshops for students of the Plaza de la Revolución municipality and a gala where different artistic manifestations were reflected were essential moments of the meeting in which students from the surrounding elementary schools and the Saúl Delgado Pre-University Institute participated.

Tay Laredo Kiala, an official of the workers' sphere of the UJC of Havana, in declarations to this media, specified that the activation of the guerrilla has been carried out in several municipalities of the capital, as part of the process of integral transformation that is deployed in the 67 vulnerable neighborhoods of the city.

A report by Radio Coco reports that the Provincial Bureau of the Young Communist League (UJC), in a press conference, explained that the day of celebration for the 60th birthday of the organization will last until June 30 and will include different proposals in the form of galas, political-cultural events, dialogues, debates, museum tours, delivery of membership cards to new members of the UJC and other projects in several of the prioritized communities of the Cuban capital.

The actions of young people in Havana are also evidenced through social projects such as Cuba in my backpack and Looking for a smile in hospitals and homes for children without family support.
