National Center for Sex Education will hold a community fair in the capital city.

A photo session in support of the Code of Families is one of the proposals of the community fair In the Street, organized monthly by the National Center for Sex Education (CENESEX), this Saturday, March 26, starting at 10 am.

Developed in conjunction with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the initiative, according to Tribuna La Habana, will take place on 10th Street, on the corner of 21st, and proposes a photo session for families who support the code, which links responsible parenthood with the opportunity provided by this legislation to promote parenting styles free of violence and respectful of children.

The organizers of the meeting said that the fair also includes the sale of books and magazines of the CENESEX publishing house, handicrafts and products of natural and traditional medicine and natural cosmetics.

As part of the Day of Responsible Motherhood and Fatherhood, Equal Rights and Responsibilities, the event includes a workshop on Respectful and Violence-Free Parenting, given by teachers of the multiplatform Respectful Parenting and the presentation of the book Psychological Well-Being of Children and Adolescents.

It also includes a film debate based on the movie Encanto, which will be conducted by specialists Ana María Cano and Carla Padrón Suárez.

The Responsible Motherhood and Fatherhood, Equal Rights and Responsibilities Day is being held in Cuba from February 14 to April 4.

In its ninth edition, it proposed the theme: Family coexistence in equity, and during its realization promoted actions that accompany the process of familiarization with the draft of the Code of Families that recognizes its plurality and diversity and is based on the principles of respect, equity, non-discrimination, co-responsibility and solidarity and affection.

The draft of the Family Code is now in the phase of popular consultation, which will conclude next April 30.

Version 24, currently under consultation, will be enriched on the basis of the criteria and suggestions provided by citizens and, in a new version, will be submitted to the National Assembly of People's Power (Cuban parliament) and, once validated, will be submitted to a referendum.
